This module focuses on the fishing niche, particularly species-specific fisherman who enjoy the sport and practice catch and release.
This niche approach serves to target the extensive specimen fishing niche, specifically bass and carp sport fisherman.

Any persons wishing to engage in recreational fishing on the reserve will be required to belong to the Shongweni Specimen Anglers Association.
Non-members of Shongweni Specimen Anglers Association are not allowed to come into the reserve to fish.
The Vision is to ensure the best fish stocks of the desired specimens in South Africa.

Specimen anglers practice catch and release and it is in their interests that fish stocks are not depleted and that the quality of the water and the environment is in a good state.

The model relies on the association to teach people interested in fishing the art of sports angling and to discourage amateur fishing practice.
